Show Notes: In 1945, as World War II was drawing to an end, the USS Indianapolis was assigned a top secret mission: to deliver the atom bomb to the U.S. military base at Tinian Island. The delivery went smoothly, but on the return voyage to Guam, the ship was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine, and in just eleven minutes, it sank.
